About the role
- We are looking for a GL Staff Accountant to play a critical role in delivering a high-quality, timely, and well-controlled financial close.
- This position is integral to the Accounting team's month-end process, prepares journal entries and reconciliations, and ensures the integrity of Rokt's consolidated financial statements under US GAAP.
- The ideal candidate brings strong technical skills, a problem-solver mindset, and a passion for improving processes as Rokt continues to scale toward public-company readiness.
Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and support month-end close processes.
- Maintain SOX-ready documentation and support internal & external audit requests.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting; partner with Finance Systems & Automation teams to implement solutions.

Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- CPA or CPA-track preferred.
- 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience (public company, tech, or high-growth environment preferred).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and core accounting principles.
- Experience preparing journal entries and reconciliations.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
- Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to meet deadlines.

- We are looking for a GL Staff Accountant Target total compensation ranges from $121,000 - $136,000, including a fixed annual salary of $110,000 - $125,000, an employee equity plan grant, and world-class benefits.
- Equity grants are issued in good faith, subject to company policies, board approval, and individual eligibility.
