About the role
- This role balances deep technical work across platforms with leadership of infrastructure projects and team mentorship.

Responsibilities
- (25%) Infrastructure Design & Planning: Design solutions for scalability, performance, and automation across OS environments.
- (20%) Cross-Platform Leadership: Lead complex deployments involving both Linux and Windows systems.
- (15%) Automation & Standardization: Build reusable automation frameworks and define platform standards along with Systems Engineers.
- (15%) Security Oversight: Drive OS-level compliance, audit readiness, and incident prevention.
- (10%) Strategic Collaboration: Partner with infrastructure, security, and application teams on enterprise initiatives.
- The Lead Systems Admin drives the design and implementation of robust, secure, and scalable server environments.

Requirements
- Ability to remain in a stationary position (seated or standing) for extended periods of time while working on a computer.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and via collaboration tools.
- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet)

Skills
- Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 7 years of relevant experience in systems administration across Windows and Linux platforms.
- Expertise in both Linux (RHEL) and Windows Server environments.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Experience with both Linux distributions and Windows Server.
