About the role
- As a full-time Campus Security Officer, you will be entrusted with the safety and protection of individuals and property at Vancouver Talmud Torah.
- This role involves patrolling the campus to ensure maximum safety and security during pick-up and drop-off, as well as proactively addressing the well-being of students, faculty, staff, and the community.
- This position reports directly to the Head of Security.
Responsibilities
- Respond to and attend Security/Police/Fire & EMS calls. Conduct foot patrols throughout the campus to maintain a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and the community.
- Perform general duties in the Security Operations Center. Address concerns from campus staff and the public, conducting investigations and reporting incidents as necessary.
- Document malfunctions and alarm activations, including intrusion, personal safety, and mechanical fob access. Cooperate with law enforcement when needed.
- Conduct building and area searches in the event of security-related concerns.
- Prepare written reports and manage unauthorized or suspicious activities.
- Conduct foot patrols throughout the campus to maintain a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and the community.

Requirements
- Proficiency in security monitoring systems, including Access Control & CCTV Software
- Experience with Microsoft Windows and Google Applications.
