About the role
- TCI is hiring a Carrier Procurement Representative on our Brokerage team!
- This role requires great communication skills, energetic personality, and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Manage the relationship between the carrier and the company.
- Build strong relationships with carriers by staying in constant communication to ensure day-to-day and long-term needs are met.
- Leverage organizational skills to manage multiple carriers and shipments.
- Confident decision-making skills and ability to maintain composure in stressful situations.
Nice to have
- Additional Requirements Transportation experience brokering freight is preferred.
- McLeod software experience is a plus.
- Inside sales or account management experience within the transportation industry is preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook is preferred.
- College degree is a plus.

- The Carrier Procurement Rep will report directly to the Director of Carrier Procurement.
