About the role

  • TCI is hiring a Carrier Procurement Representative on our Brokerage team!
  • This role requires great communication skills, energetic personality, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the relationship between the carrier and the company.
  • Build strong relationships with carriers by staying in constant communication to ensure day-to-day and long-term needs are met.
  • Leverage organizational skills to manage multiple carriers and shipments.
  • Confident decision-making skills and ability to maintain composure in stressful situations.

Nice to have

  • Additional Requirements Transportation experience brokering freight is preferred.
  • McLeod software experience is a plus.
  • Inside sales or account management experience within the transportation industry is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook is preferred.
  • College degree is a plus.

Skills

  • The Carrier Procurement Rep will report directly to the Director of Carrier Procurement.
