Requirements
- Must have good communication skills and be able to read, write, take menu orders, and speak English well enough to communicate effectively with residents, family members and peers.
- Must be able to frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, grasp and talk.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
- clean, bus tables, reset tables and complete required assigned daily cleaning tasks.
- Participates in personal and professional growth by attending mandatory in-services, scheduled department meetings and any other required training on or off campus.
- Must be at least age 16.

- This role pays $15.50 per hour.
- The shift for this role is 4:30pm to 7:30pm or 4:55 pm to 7:30 pm
- What you need to succeed:
- Good organizational skills.
- Must be able to relate to other people by giving and receiving instructions: (a) can get along with co-workers or peers without exhibiting behavioral extremes; (b) perform work activities requiring negotiating, instructing, supervising, persuading or speaking with others; and (c) respond appropriately to criticism from a supervisor.
- Maintains confidentiality of resident information.
- Be honest, dependable and reliable.
- Be able to pass a Food Prep Safe Course provided by Eastmont.
- Essential functions & responsibilities
- Serves food and beverages with a pleasant demeanor, restaurant style to residents in the dining room.
- Accomplishes other duties to include, but not limited to: clean, bus tables, reset tables and complete required assigned daily cleaning tasks.
- Ensures foods are maintained at proper temperatures.
- May assist with training new staff and/or cross training current staff.
- Communicates any problems or concerns with the Director.
- Understands and adheres to all policies and procedures at Eastmont as set forth in departmental policies and the Employee Handbook.
- Other duties as assigned.
