Responsibilities
- Build relationships that reflect the character of God with guests, staff, vendors and neighbors to foster healthy community, and a welcoming environment.
- Maintain healthy communication while working with other departments at camp.
- Maintain professional written and verbal communication to serve staff, guests and vendors at camp
- Develop understanding of operations in order to serve in retail manager's absence.
- Maintain ServSafe and First Aid/CPR certifications
Requirements
- and (b) subscribe to the statements and policies required of all Young Life staff, including the Young Life Statement of Faith.
- (i) be ready, willing and able to fulfill such ministry functions as may be required by the organization
- Demonstrate proficiency in using Point of Sale [Square], Office, Outlook and other software applications required by manager.
- Execute daily responsibilities with attention to the standards and metrics required for excellent camp operations.
- Experience training and leading teams
- Demonstrate professionalism in written and verbal communication with guests, vendors, and staff
- Demonstrate understanding of Young Life ministry, strategy, and mission
Nice to have
- College degree or equivalent preferred.
- Experience with cash handling preferred
Compensation
- With direction from manager, develop an annual personal spiritual growth plan.
- This position has a salary range of $2,626 - $2,750/month depending on experience.
Benefits
- Demonstrate spiritual leadership by supporting spiritual health of department as directed by retail manager.
- There is also a 17% COLA as well as a housing stipend when applicable (if living off of camp).
