  • This role is designed for a seasoned strategist who prefers hands-on problem solving and critical thinking over team management, and who can independently take ambiguous business questions from definition through analysis to executive-ready, data-driven recommendations.
  • You will partner closely with leaders across Marketing, Sales, Product, Analytics (Underwriting/Pricing), and Finance, contributing rigorous analysis and structured thinking to shape go-to-market (GTM) strategy, growth initiatives, and strategic planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3-6 years of relevant experience in:
  • Hands-on experience using SQL and Python for data analysis (not just conceptual familiarity).
  • Experience working directly with senior stakeholders (Director / VP level).
  • occasional planned travel to our Southfield, Michigan office may be required.
  • Attendance as required by department

Nice to have

  • B achelor's degree or higher in business, economics, engineering, or quantitative field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in auto finance, fintech, consumer lending, or adjacent industries.
  • Customer or dealer segmentation
  • Channel strategy or optimization
  • Sales enablement
  • Pricing or promotion strategy
  • Growth or market-entry strategy
  • Familiarity with Databricks or similar big data / analytics platforms used for large-scale data processing and analysis.

Skills

  • Strong command of strategy and problem-solving frameworks, critical thinking, competitive analysis, and business case development.
  • Advanced data analysis and modeling skills, with the ability to work independently end-to-end-from data exploration to insight synthesis.
  • High fluency in data environments and tools such as SQL, Python, SAS/R, Snowflake, and Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive storytelling and structured slide development.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity with a bias for action, intellectual curiosity, and urgency.
  • Strong business judgment and pragmatic decision-making mindset.
  • Proven ability to influence without authority in a cross-functional, matrixed environment.

Compensation

  • $103,000 - $120,000 base salary + an annual bonus plan
