  • The FYIC is a four-course block that teaches students critical skills such as critical, creative, computational & ethical thinking as well as coding, communication, and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Required: Ph.D. in Information Systems or related field by date of appointment for appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor
  • Master's degree in Information Systems or related field and industry experience by date of appointment for appointment as Instructor.
  • business experience in Information Systems
  • graduate degree from a business school
  • willingness and ability to teach introductory courses in Information Systems or programming/computational thinking to business students.
  • Required Application Documents
  • A criminal background check is required.
  • If hired to teach the Computational Thinking, the course is part of the required First-Year Integrated Core (FYIC) curriculum for all Farmer School of Business majors.

Compensation

  • Salary will be commensurate with the level of the position, education, and experience.
