Responsibilities

  • Consistently provides and documents daily duties, patient care provided and hospital charges.

Requirements

  • Required - Completion of a formal training program
  • Experience working with and maintaining confidential information.
  • Required - Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association,
  • Valid license and registration (must be current and valid at all times)
  • Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of information.
  • Must be proficient with Windows-style applications, various software packages specific to role and keyboard.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout the patient care process.
  • Other related duties as required.

  • Must be able to stoop, bend, reach, squat, crawl and grab with arms and hands, manual dexterity.

Nice to have

  • 2 years current as a registered EMT/A, EMT-1

Compensation

  • Maintains annual regulatory/clinical requirements and documentation per policy (i.e. annual in-service, CPR, TB testing etc.)

Benefits

  • Transports the patient to the medical facility of the patient's choice or to the nearest appropriate medical facility when medical conditions warrant.
