About the role
- Join one of Oregon's top fiber internet providers.
- This position is based out of our Creswell shop and requires reporting there daily.
- Free 1 Gig high speed fiber internet service if you live within our service territory.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day activities of employees assigned to you on the outside plant team, including scheduling and resource allocation.
- Develop and maintain documentation for projects assigned to your team.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the outside plant team.
- Safely operate and maintain company vehicles.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by enforcing company policies and procedures and adhering to legal requirements.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of outside plant design principles, including fiber optic networks, transmission poles, conduits, and other infrastructure.
- At the request of the director, meet with customers, business owners, stakeholders, and state and local government personnel to discuss planning and building of the fiber network as needed.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in outside plant construction required, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
- Proficiency in Office 365
- Degree in construction management or a related field preferred but not required.

- Understands the demands of field service operations and knows how to keep technicians productive while delivering outstanding customer service.

Skills
