Responsibilities
- Ciena is seeking an AI Champion to lead the practical adoption of AI across ASIC engineering workflows, improving productivity, quality, and protection of intellectual property.
- This position plays a critical role in identifying high-impact AI applications across design, verification, and physical implementation.
- 5+ years in ASIC design, verification, or physical design environments

Requirements
- Experience with multi-agent workflows
Skills
- Evaluate and integrate AI tools, applications, and agentic workflows from internal teams and external vendors
- Mentor engineering teams on AI-enabled workflows and promote sharing of outcomes, learnings, and best practices
- Experience delivering presentations to management audiences
Compensation
- The annual pay range for this position is C$109,000- C$ 174,000.
- Pay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business.
- Please note that the pay range information provided in this posting pertains specifically to the primary location, which is the top location listed in case multiple locations are available.
- Non-Sales employees may be eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus, while Sales employees may be eligible for a sales commission.
