About the role

Development at Estenda covers the whole product: user interfaces, APIs, data, and the workflows that tie them together.
This role focuses on front-end development.
Our stack centers on React and.NET, with deployments to Azure.

Design and build solutions with a cloud- and security-first approach.
Participate in every stage of frontend development: design, code, review, test, integration, debugging, deployment, and maintenance of user interfaces.

A 4-year degree in a technical field, preferably Computer Science or a related discipline.
5+ years of frontend development experience with React.js, modern JavaScript/TypeScript, and CSS frameworks.
Proven technical skills: the ability to work with APIs, query databases, and solve common problems.
Strong communication skills - verbal, written, and presentation - with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure across core services (Web Apps, APIM, VNet, SQL), including securing cloud environments, deployment, monitoring, and scaling.
Experience deploying and managing web applications (Azure with Bicep or Azure CLI preferred
other platforms considered).

the ability to work with APIs, query databases, and solve common problems.
Experience with authentication and authorization patterns (JWT, RBAC, API keys).
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
Comfort with change as a constant.
Experience in a regulated industry, especially healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or medtech.
Prior experience with SMART on FHIR and EMR/EHR platform integrations.
This is a front-end software development position, but full stack knowledge is beneficial.
Experience deploying and managing web applications (Azure with Bicep or Azure CLI preferred; other platforms considered).
Working knowledge of ASP.NET Core middleware, route handlers, and API layer patterns.
