- You will provide assistance in all technical aspects of projects, conduct engineering research, assessments, and coordinate with private consultants and public agencies.
Responsibilities
- Carries out tasks assigned by the Project Lead and engineering team.
- Develops working drawings for civil design plans in AutoCAD Civil 3D (grading, drainage, utility, stormwater management and street frontage improvements) from sketches.
- Uses engineering judgment to perform duties and knows when to ask questions, seek assistance or perform independent research.
- Manages personal time allotted to various tasks in order to meet obligations of one or more projects, including budget, quality and schedule.
- Can provide accurate design of grading, drainage, utilities and stormwater treatment with minimal input from engineer of record.
- Performs civil engineering calculations, SWPPP's and other engineering reports.
- With every project, we work to build connections and strengthen relationships.
Requirements
- At this level, the individual is gaining experience and has the ability to take on some tasks without supervision.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent level of experience
- 5+ years of experience in land development
- Experience with AutoCAD required
Nice to have
- Additional software experience a plus, e.g. Bluebeam, Agtek, Hydrology/Hydraulic Software, AutoCad Civil 3D
Compensation
- $100k-$135k
