  • Oversee the integration of visual navigation sensors (e.g., cameras, LIDAR), and GN&C algorithms with spacecraft avionics and embedded systems.

Requirements

  • 7-12of work experience in complex multidisciplinary engineering projects
  • A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, e.g. engineering, physics, data science, computer science, mathematics etc., graduate degree an asset
  • Proven experience leading system architecture and integration
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical and mechatronics flight systems and subsystems, space avionics, and electrical/data/software interfaces
  • Familiarity with GN&C, embedded software, and visual navigation sensor development and integration.
  • Proficiency with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, Jama) and systems modeling languages (e.g., SysML/UML).
  • Successful candidates must be eligible to obtain a security clearance in Canada at the reliability status level (and potentially at the higher levels), and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP).

  • Salary: The salary range for this position is $105,000-$170,000 annually.
  • Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications and experience

  • Successful candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to Ottawa.

Compensation
