About the role

  • The Warehouse Receiving Associate is a role that operates within the GOVX Fulfillment Center (GXFC) located in La Vergne, TN.
  • This position is responsible for receiving and processing orders in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Inventory will also be scanned to designated pickable locations.

Responsibilities

  • The associate will match shipping documents and use a handheld scanner to receive and process orders while inspecting the quality of the items to determine the correct process for each item.
  • The associate will also perform inventory checks, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and report any issues to the supervisor.
  • Receive product correctly using proper documents and unload shipments according to GXFC specifications and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Candidates must be able to complete the functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Please consider the following: Must be able to stand up to 80% of the time.
  • Must be able to push/pull carts weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Must be able to lift/carry up to 40 pounds.
  • Minimal travel is required for this position.
