Responsibilities
- Expected to drive a vehicle which requires sitting, seeing and reading signs, traffic signals, and other vehicles.

- Demonstrated experience in role training and educating adult learners in systems and workflow.
- Coordinates and monitors day-to-day functions, work queues and volumes, distributes and shifts work between team members as necessary to continually meet the quality and quantity goals of the team.
- Participates in establishing and monitoring work schedules to ensure adequate staffing, preparing for leading meetings and in-service for caregivers.
- Educates and trains caregivers to ensure staff competency.
- Advises the HIM Leader of issues and problems which hinder the efficiency of department processes.
- Acts as a Liaison to HIM Ambulatory Systems Analysts team by collaborating on technical issues.
- Experience utilizing data and statistics to identify quality and efficiency opportunities on an ongoing basis.
Skills
- Associate or bachelor's degree in healthcare related field preferred.
- Experience in HIM preferred.
- RHIT, RHIA, CMA or any related healthcare certification preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office, internet and email required.
- Experience with Epic, OnBase, and EDCO Solarity preferred.
- Medical terminology is required.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical Requirements Sitting for long periods of time.
- Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy.
- This includes frequent computer, phone, and cable set-up and use.
