Responsibilities

Expected to drive a vehicle which requires sitting, seeing and reading signs, traffic signals, and other vehicles.

Demonstrated experience in role training and educating adult learners in systems and workflow.
Coordinates and monitors day-to-day functions, work queues and volumes, distributes and shifts work between team members as necessary to continually meet the quality and quantity goals of the team.
Participates in establishing and monitoring work schedules to ensure adequate staffing, preparing for leading meetings and in-service for caregivers.
Educates and trains caregivers to ensure staff competency.
Advises the HIM Leader of issues and problems which hinder the efficiency of department processes.
Acts as a Liaison to HIM Ambulatory Systems Analysts team by collaborating on technical issues.
Experience utilizing data and statistics to identify quality and efficiency opportunities on an ongoing basis.

Associate or bachelor's degree in healthcare related field preferred.
Experience in HIM preferred.
RHIT, RHIA, CMA or any related healthcare certification preferred.
Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office, internet and email required.
Experience with Epic, OnBase, and EDCO Solarity preferred.
Medical terminology is required.
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements Sitting for long periods of time.
Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy.
This includes frequent computer, phone, and cable set-up and use.
