About the role
- This hands-on leadership role is responsible for coordinating shop activities, supporting production employees, and helping ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards.
- The ideal candidate has experience supervising structural steel fabrication teams and is comfortable managing workflow, solving production challenges, and keeping projects on schedule.
Requirements
- Three or more years of experience leading or supervising employees in a structural steel fabrication environment.
- Strong knowledge of structural steel fabrication, welding, fit-up, and layout practices.
- Experience working with or operating CNC fabrication equipment and other manufacturing machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and production documentation.
- Knowledge of manufacturing safety practices, quality control procedures, and production scheduling.
