  • Our Sompo Pro Underwriting team offers Cyber, Tech E&O, Miscellaneous Professional Liability, Insurance Agents E&O, and Architects and Engineers E&O for primary and excess risks.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance existing broker relationships as well as identify and develop new relationships within the Central region with both retail and wholesale partners.
  • Develop and execute marketing plans aimed at retaining existing business and producing new opportunities that fit with in the Sompo Pro division risk appetite
  • Ability to effectively interact, communicate and negotiate with all levels of external and/or internal business partners.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of Professional lines Underwriting Experience
  • Ability to travel approximate 10% of the time

Compensation

  • Company-paid Disability benefits with very competitive salary continuation payments
  • $125,000 - $150,000 Actual compensation for this role will depend on several factors including the cost of living associated with your work location, your qualifications, skills, competencies, and relevant experience.

  • Our compensation program is built on a foundation that promotes a pay-for-performance culture, resulting in higher incentive awards, on average, when the Company does well and lower incentive awards when the Company underperforms.
  • The total compensation opportunity for all regular, full-time employees is a combination of base salary and incentives that gets adjusted upfront based on overall Company performance with final awards based on individual performance.
