Responsibilities
- Maintain transparency with senior leadership on progress, risks, dependencies, and portfolio performance.
- Lead, develop, and scale a high-performing team of Product & UW product management and delivery leaders.
- Build leadership capability, deepen product, underwriting, and data acumen, strengthen talent pipelines, and reinforce an operating model grounded in accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Skills
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery models and experience improving execution maturity across multiple teams
- Education, Experience, Certifications and Licenses
- 12+ years of relevant experience in product management, underwriting, data and analytics, technology, or business transformation
- 7+ years leading leaders, large portfolios, or complex programs across multiple teams or functions
- Experience operating in a regulated industry preferred, including insurance, financial services, or similar environments
- Experience with Agile delivery methods such as Scrum or Kanban
- Experience with Agile delivery methods such as Scrum or Kanban; scaled Agile experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Candidates who live near one of our office locations have the expectation of working in an office 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday).
- Compensation
- The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market.
- The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees.

- $160,000 - $240,000
