About the role

  • Monitor patients closely, administer treatments, and recognize subtle changes in condition to ensure the highest standard of care.
  • Utilize advanced technical skills, including IV catheter placement, phlebotomy, diagnostic sample collection, anesthesia monitoring, and intensive nursing care.
  • Balance the needs of multiple patients while maintaining exceptional attention to detail, organization, and patient advocacy.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional, compassionate nursing care to critically ill and hospitalized patients in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Progressive Care Unit (PCU), treating every patient as if they were your own.
  • Work alongside a dedicated team of emergency veterinarians, technicians, and assistants to deliver life-saving care in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Build meaningful relationships with pet owners by offering empathy, support, and clear communication during some of their most difficult moments.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years experience working as a veterinary technician required.
  • Some weekends and holidays are required.

Nice to have

  • Credentialed veterinary technician (LVT, CVT, RVT) preferred but not required.
  • Recover certification a plus, but not required.

Skills

  • Access to advanced tools (MRI, CT, ventilator, ICU, dialysis)
