About the role

  • Sea Mar's network of services includes more than 90 medical, dental, and behavioral health clinics and a wide variety of nutritional, social, and educational services.
  • The Resident Manager will ensure the daily upkeep and smooth operation of all, maintaining a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for residents and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain regular communication with Housing Director regarding property operations and tenant concerns.
  • Manage and maintain the property's waiting list in compliance with applicable regulations.
  • This position is responsible for managing one 70-unit affordable apartment building, along with a neighboring duplex, triplex, fourplex, and community living environment homes, all within approximately one mile of each other.
  • Perform quarterly inspections of smoke alarms, exit signs, and security systems to maintain building safety and compliance.
  • Collaborate with maintenance staff to ensure vacant units are turned over quickly and prepared for new residents.

Requirements

  • Must be vaccinated for COVID-19.

  • The role also involves coordinating compliance documentation as directed by the Housing Director, facilitating lease signings, move-ins, and move-outs, and completing all required property management and regulatory paperwork in accordance with state and federal housing guidelines.
  • Work closely with the Housing Director to provide documentation and reports required for audits, inspections, and compliance reviews by regulatory agencies.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Auto liability insurance.

Nice to have

  • Property management experience preferred.
  • Maintenance experience preferred.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred, not required.

Compensation

  • $43,680 - $49,920
  • Paid-time-off starting at 24 days per year + 10 paid Holidays.
