About the role
- Adjunct/Part Time Faculty (Fixed Term) Grade:
- Under general supervision of and in accordance with Clovis Community College and departmentally established practices and expectations, adjunct instructors work collaboratively with other faculty within the College and their discipline to ensure that key concepts of the specific discipline are addressed. - Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of student academic performance; and possess a thorough knowledge and understanding of all college policies.

Requirements
- Master's degree in the related field or a master's degree in another field with 18 additional graduate hours in the discipline to be taught.
Skills
- Teaching assignments may vary depending on the specific qualifications and expertise of the individual.
- The Instructor will provide students with a complete syllabus containing course outcomes and competencies
- Present well prepared, organized, and clear lectures and classroom activities consistent with the course syllabus
- Provide students with timely information and feedback on academic progress relative to quizzes, tests, homework, and projects
- Use technology tools including, but not limited to, Canvas, Starfish, e-mail, MS Office, and the Internet.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
