About the role
- You will serve as an Engineering Technician (Mechanical) in the Auxiliary Systems (TRF-322) Shop 38A, Mechanical Division (TRF-320), Repair Department (TRF-300) of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.
- Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Submarine Propulsion Maintenance: Hands-on experience troubleshooting, overhauling, and repairing submarine main propulsion shafting, steam systems, and seawater components.
Responsibilities
- Experience utilizing OHIO Class maintenance history to provide design and configuration recommendations for new submarine classes (e.g., COLUMBIA Class).
Requirements
- Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of SPECIALIZED experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
- Experience performing mechanical inspections onboard submarines (including INSURV and TSRA) and executing repairs during forward-deployed operation Additional qualification information can be found from the following
