About the role
- The Pharmacy Technician will demonstrate consistent application of knowledge and skills in assisting the pharmacist in the execution of appropriate safe, efficient, effective and cost-effective pharmaceutical care in the scope of their assignment.
Responsibilities
- Maintains a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Maintains records by recording and filing physicians' orders and prescriptions.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a healthcare or high-volume customer service position
Nice to have
- Current technician license to practice as a pharmacy technician
- Current knowledge of state and federal regulations and statutes regarding the practice of pharmacy and the distribution of approved drugs, controlled substances, and investigational agent.
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge.
- Excellent customer service skills (retail customer service preferred)
