- Northrop Grumman's Space Sector is seeking a Facilities Engineer - Level 2 to join our team in Charlotte, NC.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the design and installation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and other building infrastructure.
- Assist in budget planning, monitor project costs, and manage contract finances to ensure projects stay within budget.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 2 years of professional experience - OR.
- Master's degree with 0 years of professional experience.
- No clearance required to start
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and utility systems, including Chillers, cooling towers, HVAC and building automation systems.
- Project Management: Experience in managing multiple facilities-related projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration.
- Software Proficiency: Microsoft Site, project timeline and scheduling
- U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions with a government clearance and certain other restricted positions.
Nice to have
- A Master's degree in mechanical, electrical, civil engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in using engineering and project management software tools such as AutoCAD and project scheduling software like Microsoft Project

Compensation
- $79,600.00 - $119,400.00
- Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
- Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
- The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
