About the role

  • Security Responsibilities Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures.
  • Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain software for flight and mission simulators, ensuring reliability and performance to train pilots for safe mission outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software with hardware, ensuring seamless operation for real-time, mission-critical applications.
  • Write and maintain clean, efficient code, with a focus on real-time systems and simulator performance.
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and cross-functional brainstorming to drive innovation within a disciplined development process.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret clearance and Special Program Access
  • Your engineering directly supports pilot readiness and mission safety around the globe.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering for mission‑critical or real‑time environments.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Experience working in Waterfall and/or Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Background in military training, simulation, or mission‑readiness systems, along with experience working on government or DoD‑aligned programs.
  • Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.
  • Must be able to work overtime on and off-shifts as required.
  • Must be able to perform normal office duties (e.g. sitting for long periods at a desk)
  • Must be able to travel CONUS/OCONUS via car and airplane
  • Must be able to climb stairs to enter and exit a simulator

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of MIL‑STD‑810, MIL‑STD‑461, MIL‑STD‑704
  • ARINC / RTCA experience preferred.

Compensation

  • $125,700-$138,900.00
  • The actual compensation rate is subject to the evaluation of the following factors (but not limited to): the candidate's work experience, qualifications, skills, internal equity, and market.
