About the role
- In compliance with applicable pay transparency laws, the expected salary range for this position is $112,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience and location.

Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the design and development of mechanisms for spacecraft, missile systems, or air platforms.
- Experience designing, analyzing, and testing flight‑critical mechanical assemblies, including actuators, hinges, latching devices, and deployment or separation mechanisms.
- Proficiency in kinematic, stress, and thermal analysis for aerospace applications.
- Experience managing hardware development from initial concept through manufacturing, environmental testing, and flight qualification.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary engineering teams to integrate mechanisms into overall vehicle architectures.
- CAD proficiency, preferably with Siemens NX
- familiarity ANSI Y14.5 (GD&T)
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Ability to lift and/or move 50 pounds.
Nice to have
- Proficiency in CAD modeling is required, with Siemens NX preferred
- familiarity with ANSI Y14.5 is also necessary.
