  • This is a ground-floor opportunity to shape the materials and warehousing function for a brand-new site supporting three production lines, working closely with leadership to establish material flow processes from the ground up.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate material flow to support production schedules and customer delivery requirements.
  • Maintain safe, clean, and organized working conditions throughout all warehouse and material storage areas.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses promptly and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate with production, planning, and purchasing teams to support operational goals and customer requirements.
  • Lead cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory reconciliation activities.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely reporting of inventory data.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehouse operations, and material flow processes.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety standards.
  • Experience using ERP systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and/or move materials up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Ability to work in varying warehouse and manufacturing conditions.
  • Conduct and coordinate safety meetings, toolbox talks, and required training sessions.
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • associate degree or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in warehouse, inventory, logistics, or materials management leadership roles preferred.
  • Experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred.
  • Forklift certification preferred.
