- This is a ground-floor opportunity to shape the materials and warehousing function for a brand-new site supporting three production lines, working closely with leadership to establish material flow processes from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate material flow to support production schedules and customer delivery requirements.
- Maintain safe, clean, and organized working conditions throughout all warehouse and material storage areas.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses promptly and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with production, planning, and purchasing teams to support operational goals and customer requirements.
- Lead cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory reconciliation activities.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely reporting of inventory data.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehouse operations, and material flow processes.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety standards.
- Experience using ERP systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and/or move materials up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ability to work in varying warehouse and manufacturing conditions.
- Conduct and coordinate safety meetings, toolbox talks, and required training sessions.
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have
- High school diploma or GED required
- associate degree or bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in warehouse, inventory, logistics, or materials management leadership roles preferred.
- Experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred.
- Forklift certification preferred.
