About the role

  • The Senior Centralized Payable Analyst is responsible for managing and optimizing accounts payable processes.
  • This role plays a critical part in ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, payments, and expense reimbursements, as well as monitoring compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.
  • In this advanced position, the Senior Centralized Payable Analyst will review and reconcile complex payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.

Responsibilities

  • They will analyze data to identify trends, support process improvements, and generate reports for senior management.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date vendor records and ensure timely payment of vendor invoices.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls policies and procedures within accounts payable, maintain compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and other relevant regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, business administration, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in accounts or a similar financial operations role
  • Assume additional responsibilities as required for the growth and advancement of Everwise.

Nice to have

  • Experience in a credit union or financial services industry preferred

Skills

  • Proven understanding of centralized payables.
  • Advanced data analysis and reporting capabilities
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Advanced proficiency in analytical and critical thinking
  • Strong aptitude for accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to work with a large volume of data
