Responsibilities

The Applications Developer III is responsible for designing, coding, testing, and maintaining complex software applications that support various business functions.
In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain complex software applications to support business functions, ensuring they meet organizational needs.
Additionally, you will participate in and lead code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members.
You will utilize version control systems like Git to manage the codebase and track changes effectively.
Furthermore, you will independently design and implement software solutions, perform debugging and testing, and mentor junior developers by providing technical leadership and expertise.
We deliver mission-proven technologies to our customers that safeguard our nation, protect space-based assets and enable space exploration.

Requirements

Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree or Masters +3 yrs experience).
Typically 5+ years of related experience.
Expertise in multiple programming languages and frameworks.
Experience with various development tools and technologies.

Nice to have

Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, or others.
Familiarity with development frameworks such as Spring, Django,.NET, React, or Angular.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and best practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies will ensure the software remains current and competitive.

Compensation

$116,865.00 - $160,711.50
Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.
