About the role

  • Company Background Ownwell helps property owners reduce the costs of owning real estate.
  • Our proprietary software automatically identifies property owners that are overpaying on real estate expenses, and recently launched a new Insurance Division!
  • We're dedicated to making the costs of property ownership more transparent and equitable, especially insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and bind new business with carriers
  • Maintain client relationships and provide support to Ownwell clients
  • Demonstrate detailed knowledge of Property and Casualty insurance, marketplace, products, and services, developing productive business relationships with key insurance carriers.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years + of sales experience in an insurance brokerage with a proven track record of sales success.
  • Strong knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance.
  • You should have extensive knowledge of available insurance products, a passion for sales, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience with rater platforms like EZLynx or HawkSoft, various insurance carrier's portals, GSuite and CRMs such as AgencyZoom or Salesforce is a plus
  • Entrepreneurial culture.
  • As applicable complimentary real estate and tax consulting licensing and renewal
  • experience selling commercial insurance
