- The Behavioral Health Coordinator / Medical Assistant plays a vital dual role in supporting both the clinical and operational success of Zarminali's Behavioral Health team in Sartell, Minnesota.
Responsibilities
- Optimize provider schedules utilizing scheduling protocols and web-based scheduling tools.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while assisting patients with scheduling needs and identifying appropriate solutions.
- Manage no-show and late cancellation workflows, including patient outreach and documentation in accordance with clinic policies.
- Partner with clinic leadership to optimize provider schedules, maintain scheduling protocols, and improve clinic efficiency.
- Prepare examination and treatment rooms and maintain cleanliness and appropriate clinical supplies.
- Perform point-of-care testing, specimen collection, and other clinical tasks within scope of practice.
- Support front and back office operations as needed to ensure efficient clinic flow and an exceptional patient experience.

Requirements

- As a Behavioral Health Coordinator / Medical Assistant at Zarminali, you will:
- Behavioral Health Coordination
- Coordinate and manage scheduling for all Behavioral Health providers, including both in-clinic and telehealth appointments.
- Manage provider schedule changes, including planned and unplanned PTO, and communicate appointment updates to patients.
- Serve as the primary liaison between patients, providers, administration, and the Behavioral Health team.
- Collaborate with providers to ensure Behavioral Health assessments and testing are appropriately documented and completed within the medical record.
