- This Public Safety Attorney III position will individually litigate moderately complex cases for the Public Safety Section from start to finish in federal and state courts from federal civil rights claims to personnel actions.
- This position provides professional litigation services, legal analysis, and thoughtful, meaningful legal advice to mid-level, senior, and executive managers of client agencies and internally at NC DOJ.
- This position is funded by the Department of Adult Corrections, which will be the primary client-agency, but work will also be required for State Highway Patrol, State Bureau of Investigation, and Public Safety.
- This position may also serve as an advisor to or assist other attorneys in the section on routine and complex matters to provide support and such other duties as assigned.
- This is a hybrid remote position, requiring a combination of in-office and remote work.
