About the role
- This role is approximately 25 hours per week with flexible scheduling.
- General Responsibilities for All GEM Missionaries
- Engage in personal discipleship for the growth and multiplication of obedient Christ followers.
Responsibilities
- This is a support raised position.
- Maintain personal spiritual vitality and a healthy family life.
- Maintain prayer and financial support.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with key churches, colleges, and ministries in the region.
- Support Ten2 project preparation and execution as time permits.
- The Part-Time Regional Mobilizer develops GEM's Mobilization and Church Engagement in your local area by building connections, guiding prospective missionaries, and supporting local ministry partnerships.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team member.
- Participate in field-wide and mission-wide meetings, retreats, and conferences as required (scaled appropriately for part-time staff).
- Regularly required to talk, listen, and engage in person-to-person communication.
- Must be able to adjust focus and work with computer-based tools.
Nice to have
- A BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university preferred.
- Experience in mobilization, ministry, or related leadership roles is a plus.
Compensation
- Assist in mobilizing and training one short-term team annually.
