About the role

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Mold Fabrication & Assembly: Manufacture, assemble, and modify molds using machining techniques such as milling, grinding, drilling, and EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining).
Conduct regular maintenance and inspections to ensure molds remain in optimal condition.

Interpret blueprints, CAD models, and technical drawings to create precise molds.
Mold Maintenance & Repair: Troubleshoot and repair worn or damaged molds to maintain production efficiency.
Perform hand-finishing techniques such as polishing, deburring, and fitting mold parts.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company policies.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting efficient manufacturing operations through precise and reliable mold work.
May be required to work in various areas of operations when necessary.
Performs other related duties and assignments as required.

An ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete and abstract variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Proficiency in reading blueprints, CAD designs, and precision measurement tools.

Operate CNC machines, lathes, grinders, and other precision tools to fabricate mold components.
High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred).
3+ years of experience in mold making, tool & die, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of machining processes, CNC operation, and manual tooling techniques.
Apprenticeship or certification in Mold Making, Tool & Die, or related trade preferred.
Experience with injection molding, compression molding, or die-casting molds.
Understanding of various mold materials (e.g., steel, aluminum, plastic composites).
Familiarity with industry software such as AutoCAD, Mastercam, or SolidWorks.
Communication skills Attention to detail Good math skills.
Machining & Tooling: Operate CNC machines, lathes, grinders, and other precision tools to fabricate mold components.
