Responsibilities

  • Foster strong collaboration across multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, innovative, and impactful client solutions.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop team members while promoting an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing culture.
  • Collaborate with teams across AVENIR GLOBAL to maximize project success and innovation.
  • Proven experience developing compelling proposals, pitches and a strong passion for building new client relationships while identifying growth opportunities.
  • AXON is looking for a Senior Account Director to lead integrated client accounts, shape strategic communications initiatives, and help drive the continued growth of our agency.

  • The ideal candidate will have:

Nice to have

  • Foundational knowledge of clinical research, trial conduct, and operational delivery.
  • Relevant qualifications in communications, marketing, life sciences, business, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex client accounts and integrated communications programs.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of delivering impactful client solutions.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Strong financial and operational management capabilities, including budgeting and forecasting experience.
  • Proven people leadership experience with the ability to mentor, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.

Compensation

  • The expected salary for this role is $92,000.00 - $115,000.00 CAD.

  • Lead strategic healthcare communications programs from planning through execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of healthcare trends, client industries, and competitive landscapes to provide informed strategic counsel.
  • 8-10+ years of experience in healthcare communications, public relations, medical communications, or agency client services.
  • A collaborative mindset and passion for advancing healthcare communications.
