About the role
- Headquartered in Cordova, TN, Stratas Foods is a 50/50 joint venture formed in October 2008 between ACH Food Companies and Archer Daniels Midland Company.
- Stratas Foods is built on the combined strengths and expertise of these two great parent companies, laid down over the course of over 200 years of combined experience.
- Manufacturing facilities are located in Dallas and Houston, TX; Decatur and Quincy, IL; Englewood, NJ; Hillside, NJ; Fresno, CA; Nashville, TN; and Valdosta, GA.
Responsibilities
- Actively participates in safety and continuous improvement initiatives to support operational efficiency.
- Maintains reliable attendance and punctuality to support team and operational needs.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any safety or maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and transactions.
- Support general warehouse duties such as packing, labeling, and organizing materials.
- Pallet building
- Perform a variety of other miscellaneous duties as assigned or qualified for as Material Handler.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of forklift operator experience required
- Must be able to walk throughout the plant, to include walking and climbing up/downstairs and ladders (portable, fixed).
- Must have the appropriate level of sensory acuity (visual, hearing, speaking, smell and touch) to be able to identify and react to normal, abnormal and alarm conditions (chemicals, temperature, etc.)
- Must be able to logically and methodically work through and break down complex problems and processes to enable effective communication with all levels of the organization.

- Complete all required documentation as required
- Perform Oil railcar, RAW, or product sampling as required with supervision

- Demonstrates flexibility by learning and performing multiple roles and filling in for temporary or permanent vacancies as needed.
- Physical: Must be able to walk throughout the plant, to include walking and climbing up/downstairs and ladders (portable, fixed).
- Must have be ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally is required.
