- AMS is seeking a passionate and dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to join our team at the AMS Mesa Campus for the 2026-2027 school year.

Responsibilities
- Deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction aligned with AMS curriculum and Arizona academic standards.
- Build strong foundational skills in early literacy, phonics, writing, and mathematics.
- Differentiate instruction to support students performing above and below grade level.
- Implement engaging instructional strategies that promote student participation, exploration, and early critical thinking skills.
- Establish and maintain a structured, positive, and high-expectations classroom environment.
- Collaborate with grade-level teams and instructional leaders to strengthen instructional practices.
- The Kindergarten Teacher plays a critical role in helping scholars build strong foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional development.
- Demonstrate a data-driven approach to instruction and student support
Requirements
- Pass required background checks and obtain an IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Minimum Qualifications

- Use formative and summative assessment data to guide instructional planning and student interventions.
- Implement PBIS and proactive classroom management strategies.
- Support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development.
- Foster a classroom culture that promotes kindness, responsibility, and a love of learning.
- Participate in weekly professional development and professional learning communities (PLCs).
- Contribute to school-wide systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Engage in ongoing professional learning aligned with AMS instructional priorities.
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and classroom expectations.
- Conduct parent-teacher conferences and maintain strong home-school partnerships.
- Support family engagement initiatives that promote student success.
Compensation
- Range: $48,331.25 - $54,571.89 (DOE)
- Competitive salary based on experience
