  • The Senior Director acts as a vital liaison between physicians, advanced practice providers (APPs), and hospital administration to cultivate a collaborative, high-performing practice environment.

Nice to have

  • Cultivate high-touch provider relationships, aligning the distinct operational needs of specialized pediatric physicians and providers with hospital business objectives.
  • Serve as the department liaison for former, current and future fellows, visiting professors, summer interns and international visitors.
  • Maximize revenue cycle performance, partnering with billing teams to ensure precise orthopedic charge capture, coding accuracy, and clean claim submissions.
  • Oversee planning and implementation of scientific sessions including the CME accreditation and hosting of programs.
  • Master's degree (MHA, MBA, or MPH) is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive operational leadership experience within a hospital outpatient department, large surgical group, or ASC setting.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience managing orthopedic, pediatric, or surgical specialty practice lines.
  • Demonstrated success operating within an Epic-based environment, with a proven ability to leverage the EHR for operational efficiency.

Skills

  • Mastery of wRVU tracking, orthopedic charge capture, and surgical utilization metrics.
