Develops, implements and coordinates individualized, goal directed nursing care to patients using the nursing process as appropriate for RN's as applicable to the assigned area(s).
Maintains nursing standards of care and responds to changing workloads and patient conditions by remaining calm, making objective assessments, prioritizing, and asking for assistance as appropriate.
Transcribes and implements provider orders and treatments both verbal and written accurately and efficiently as noted by chart reviews and observation.

RQI Provider (BLS) required within 7 days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care, whichever occurs first.
Must have knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations, established protocol for storing poisons, narcotics, acids, caustics, and flammable items
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
Possess considerable knowledge of the behavior and needs of patients.

Minimum of two (2) years' experience in similar position within a medical setting (eg, physician office, clinic, or hospital) preferred. Experience in assigned area(s) preferred.
Driving record for the previous thirty-six (36) months must not reflect any major driving offenses (i.e
DUI, convicted of a felony involving a motor vehicle, suspended license, three (3) or more speeding tickets or other moving violations, etc.).
In addition, personal vehicles used for LH business:
State law minimum liability coverage limits required.
Possess knowledge of professional nursing theory, medical terminology and principles of professional nursing practice to administer and evaluate patient care.
Understanding of the confidentiality laws that govern the provider-patient relationship, including but not limited to, HIPAA guidelines.
Knowledge of equipment, supplies, and instruments used in a medical office
simple routine clinical laboratory methods, universal blood and body fluid precautions.

Current Montana RN license or a multi state compact license with authorization to practice nursing within the state of Montana
BSN degree preferred.
Experience in assigned area(s) preferred.
