About the role

  • MIC provides turnkey facility integration solutions, including cleanroom and MEP construction, DI water, gas and chemical supply systems, wastewater treatment, facility monitoring and control systems, installation, and maintenance services.
  • This position is responsible for installing and assembling piping systems used for chemicals, gases, water, wastewater, compressed air, and other process and facility utilities.
  • This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with supervisors, engineers, welders, technicians, subcontractors, and other construction trades.

Responsibilities

  • Install valves, regulators, pumps, filters, fittings, flanges, gauges, supports, hangers, brackets, and related piping components.
  • Verify proper pipe slope, elevation, routing, alignment, spacing, and support installation.
  • Perform field measurements and identify routing or installation conflicts before work begins.
  • Ensure piping installations match approved project documents and system requirements.
  • Testing, Inspection & Commissioning Support
  • Inspect completed piping work for proper alignment, support, labeling, workmanship, and compliance with specifications.
  • Support system walkdowns, punch-list activities, inspections, turnover, and final acceptance.
  • Maintain accurate records of testing, completed installations, system changes, and inspection results.

Requirements

  • Experience installing industrial, commercial, manufacturing, or process utility piping systems.
  • Ability to read piping drawings, isometric drawings, equipment layouts, and construction specifications.
  • Experience measuring, cutting, fitting, aligning, and assembling piping and related components.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and pipefitting equipment.
  • Ability to identify installation conflicts and communicate field issues clearly.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English.
  • Reliable attendance and the ability to work scheduled shifts, overtime, weekends, or extended hours when required.
  • Ability to pass required project-site onboarding, safety training, and employment screening.
  • Assist with the installation of single-wall and double-contained piping systems when required.

Nice to have

  • Experience working on semiconductor manufacturing, cleanroom, pharmaceutical, data center, industrial, or mission-critical construction projects.
  • Experience with chemical distribution, specialty gas, bulk gas, ultrapure water, wastewater, process cooling water, or compressed-air piping systems.
  • Experience installing stainless steel, carbon steel, copper, PVC, CPVC, polypropylene, PVDF, high-purity, or double-contained piping.
  • Familiarity with cleanroom construction and contamination-control requirements.
  • Experience supporting pressure testing, leak testing, flushing, purging, commissioning, and system turnover.
  • Experience working from spool drawings, piping isometrics, and piping and instrumentation diagrams.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
  • Current aerial lift, scissor lift, forklift, rigging, or other relevant construction certifications.

  • Marketech International Corporation USA is seeking an experienced and safety-focused Pipefitter to support the installation, modification, testing, and commissioning of process piping and facility utility systems within a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
  • This position is responsible for installing and assembling piping systems used for chemicals, gases, water, wastewater, compressed air, and other process and facility utilities. The Pipefitter will interpret drawings and specifications, measure and fabricate piping components, install supports and equipment connections, and help ensure all work is completed safely, accurately, and in accordance with project requirements.
  • Install, assemble, modify, and repair process piping and facility utility systems within an active semiconductor construction environment.
  • Work with piping systems supporting chemicals, bulk gases, specialty gases, ultrapure water, wastewater, compressed air, process cooling water, exhaust, and other facility utilities.
  • Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, fit, align, and assemble piping according to drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
  • Prepare piping joints and components for welding, brazing, threading, compression fittings, mechanical connections, or other approved joining methods.
  • Install and align piping connections to equipment, skids, tanks, pumps, chemical cabinets, valve boxes, and process tools.
  • Read and interpret construction drawings, piping and instrumentation diagrams, isometric drawings, spool drawings, specifications, and equipment layouts.
