About the role

As an Equipment Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machines/equipment used in the production of medical devices.
Temperature control environment- great for summer
On site gym- 24 hour- great for night shift

Participate in autonomous maintenance to maintain assigned equipment/area
Drives to meet or exceed all expected line/zone performance
Produces high quality products manufactured per task documents
Maintain equipment and a clean area by performing tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and wiping down equipment.
Maintains an open line of communication to ensure all problems/changes are communicated and resolved in a timely manner

High School Diploma/GED OR 1 year consecutive work experience
Maintains accurate records and documents as required.
Ability to train other associates as needed
They are required to stand and/or occasionally sit for extended periods of time.
Must be willing and able to wear required PPE such as, safety glasses, face mask and/or shield, hearing protection, safety shoes, hair and beard net and smock.

Must be able to read & write in written English and communicate in verbal English
Effectively work in a team setting and communicate across the department
Ability to work on assignments that are semi-routine in nature with the skill to recognize any deviations from specification
Ability to operate independently within the constraints of approved process-related documentation
Basic proficiency with PCs (Personal Computers) and basic use of a Windows environment
Work Environment & Essential Physical Functions:
