About the role

As a Gensler Technical Designer, focusing on commercial interior environments, you will design and produce technical documentation, as well as communicate project progress to team members and clients to ensure success.
You're a fit for this role if you have experience in documentation and execution of the project, are proficient in Revit, and enjoy working with a team of architects and interior designers that bring design dreams to life.
This is a good role for someone who is technically proficient, comfortable in client-facing settings, and enjoys working with a highly creative, collaborative team dedicated to innovative problem solving and design excellence.

ensure design intent is incorporated into the construction documentation
Participate in construction administration, evaluate bids, conduct site visits, address technical issues, and maintain quality control during construction
Utilize hand sketches and 3D software renderings to communicate design concepts
Interface with building and permitting officials during the permitting and construction phases of the project
Establish and maintain ongoing, productive client relationships

Bachelor or Masters Degree in Architecture or Interior Design, preferably with experience designing corporate interiors projects
3-5 years of professional experience with focus on Architecture or Interior Design
