About the role
- Company Description TOMRA North America, a top International Reverse Vending and Recycling Company, is recruiting for a Maintenance Mechanic in the Portland, ME area.
- Make repairs or replacements to blower systems and counting and scanning.
- Such repairs will include but are not limited to hydraulic valve and pump replacements, hydraulic lines and piping, mechanical devices, wire tie systems and inserters.
Responsibilities
- The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible to repair and maintain all production equipment and building systems in our material handling facilities.
Requirements
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in the field of maintenance is required.
- Must be able to troubleshoot and repair all types of conveyor equipment and their components.
- Must be able to repair and or replace conveyor motors, gear boxes, chain drives, rollers, belt lacing and belts.
- Must be able to repair and troubleshoot hydraulic balers and baling equipment.
- Must be able to install and align all types of drives and replace different types of drive belts.
- Must be able to fabricate, repair and install all types of guarding on material handling equipment at the plant.
- Must be able to repair high pressure air systems and their components.
- Must be able to repair building plumbing systems and their components.
- Must be able to fit, install and repair all type of piping and tubing systems, to include steel, plastic, brass, copper and rubber piping and tubing systems.
