About the role
- Variable (United States of America) Dietary Aide The Dietary Aide will assists in the assembly, preparation and clean-up of patient meal trays.
- Work is performed in kitchen areas where the steam and heat from cooking and dishwashing equipment often cause uncomfortably high temperatures and humidity.
- Food service workers are regularly exposed to hot liquids, sharp cutting blades, hot working surfaces and extreme temperature changes when entering walk-in refrigeration units.
Nice to have
- High School diploma or GED equivalent highly preferred
- Previous food service experience preferred
- Must possess good verbal and written communication skills
- Basic math skills required
- Ability to work well with others
- Good organizational skills and the ability to work with pre-defined time frames and deadlines
- Sets up work station with correct supplies/food items
- Assembles meal trays accurately using meal ticket and diet restrictions
