About the role
- The core focus of the group is to prepare, evaluate, analyze, and summarize valuation results related to deal underwritings and portfolio management, with a specific focus on leveraged loans.
- Prepare valuation analysis and presentations for Portfolio Management Group and Credit Groups, and ad-hoc deliverables
- Update valuation models / templates related to portfolio management, including discounted cash flow (DCF), peer group and precedent transaction multiples and other valuation models
Responsibilities
- Join a team of professionals that (i) perform valuation analysis (ii) handle a variety of ad hoc and recurring analysis and (iii) conduct valuation training
- Create and develop presentation materials to effectively communicate results within MUFG

Requirements
- Participate in and contribute to special assignments and projects as required
- (i) Excel (ii) Word and (iii) PowerPoint is required
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or similar discipline is required.
- 1-3 years of experience in banking with exposure to credit underwriting or review preferred
- Experience with valuation methods such as discounted cash flow, market multiple, market transaction, and other evaluation methodologies
- Strong quantitative and technical abilities, including financial modelling capabilities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in MS: (i) Excel (ii) Word and (iii) PowerPoint is required

Compensation
- The typical base pay range for this role is between $90k - $105k+ depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location.
