About the role

Requirements
- Two (2) years' experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- Four (4) years of additional Test Engineer experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
- Strong proficiency in Python is required for designing and implementing automated test solutions, developing test frameworks, and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Proven experience in software testing with a focus on geospatial applications and Java microservices, and RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of geospatial techniques, analysis, and visualization
- Proficiency in test automation using tools like Selenium, JUnit, or similar
- Familiarity with testing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of test efforts
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Compensation
- The estimated salary range for this position is between $120,000.00 and $170,000.00 (annualized USD).
