About the role
- Measure, cut, bend, thread, and assemble conduit under the direction of a Journeyworker.
- Assist with pulling, labeling, and terminating power, control, instrumentation, and communication cables.
- Assist in the installation of lighting systems, receptacles, panelboards, disconnects, transformers, motor controls, and other electrical equipment.
Requirements
- May be required to work extended hours including holidays and weekends due to the 24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 days a year type of service ESCO provides its clients
Nice to have
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Enrollment in, or willingness to enroll in the electrical apprenticeship program
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn the electrical trade.
- Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record preferred.
- Ability to pass required background checks, drug screening, and site-specific safety requirements.
- Previous construction, industrial, or mechanical experience.
