About the role

- Assist with daily living activities (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing
Responsibilities

- As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will provide direct care and support to adults with developmental disabilities in their homes and community settings.
- Support individuals with meal prep, feeding, shopping, and household tasks
- Implement Individual Support Plans (ISP), Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSP), and Functional Assessments
- Manage client financial ledgers daily, with weekly verification and monthly reconciliation
- Maintain accurate documentation using QuickMAR and internal DICE systems
- CPR/First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogens, and Positive Behavior Support training (provided if needed)
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have a valid WA driver's license and reliable transportation with insurance
- Ability to pass a background check per DSHS guidelines
Nice to have
- Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
Skills
- Promote independence through life skills coaching, goal tracking, and community engagement
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
