About the role
- This position will be responsible for providing theory, simulation, and practical applications for classes in Class A and Class B commercial motor vehicles and potential CDL endorsements.
- This position will be primarily located on the Norfolk Campus but will also require travel to additional locations to provide training to meet our 20-county service area needs.
- Skills: The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be comfortable speaking in front of a class, and be knowledgeable about computer operation and driving simulation equipment.
Nice to have
- More than three years of professional truck driving experience required.
- More than five years of professional truck driving experience is preferred.
- Must adhere to all requirements of holding a CDL license.
- Haz Mat, Passenger, and School Bus endorsements are preferred and encouraged.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, an associate degree preferred.
- Professional truck driving training certification is required.
- E xperience: More than three years of professional truck driving experience required.
